French-born Ilyes ‘Izzy’ Mendi has been cooking for more than a decade, starting his culinary career in one of France’s most celebrated restaurants. Chef Ilyes spent his first year in Australia catching waves in Kirra before moving to Sydney and working for Rockpool Group, Nola Smokehouse, La Pav, and more. More recently, Ilyes has been creating private dining experiences for hosts in their homes, boutique hotels, and even aboard super yachts. Coming from a big kitchen background means Chef Ilyes has a passion for detail and delivering the highest quality dishes. Chef Ilyes believes every private dining experience is an opportunity to create an unforgettable moment for his clients and hosts.
